Case Number: NAF 2120196

Complainant: Zelig AI LLC

Represented by: Foley & Lardner LLP

A midwestern upstart fintech company has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking in connection with its use of the UDRP process to force the transfer of the domain valusync.com. Zelig AI, LLC, which offers a beta app through its website, valusyncit.com, was found guilty of RDNH by a single-member panel of the National Arbitration Forum.

Panelist David E. Sorkin found the company’s claims of trademark rights in the “valusync” mark did not actually exist, handing up his ruling of RDNH on November 6, 2024.
