Swiss Company Guilty Of RDNH For Trying To Steal Polydec.com

The Swiss precision parts supply company, Polydec SA, has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking after using the UDRP process to force a transfer of the domain from a German building supply firm, Knauf Information Services GmbH. The domain has been registered since 1998, and Knauf obtained the domain in 2013, after acquiring a French company, also named Polydec.

A single-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization handed up the RDNH ruling against Polydec SA on October 2, 2024.
