Four Year-Old Upstart Battles Big Blue And Gets Bruised By RDNH

Case Number: NAF 2137992

Complainant: Resource Interactive

Represented by: Paul Proffitt

A four-year old Ohio company, Resource Interactive, which is partnered with Salesforce to provide custom, high-end digital marketing solutions, has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking after trying to use the UDRP process to force a transfer of the domain resourceinteractive.com, which was originally registered in 2003 and is currently owned by IBM. IBM has owned the domain since 2016, when it acquired a digital marketing agency that owned the domain.

A single member panelist of the National Arbitration Forum, Ivett Paulovics, handed up a ruling of RDNH on March 13, 2025.

Editor’s note: We observed Resource Interactive’s logos and marks appear to mimic the National Park Service; however, the company does not appear to be affiliated with the NPS.
