Canadian Company Slapped With RDNH In Attempt To Swipe CronosGroup.com

Blame it on the weed. A Canadian cannabinoid company has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking after attempting to use the UDRP process to force a transfer of the domain cronosgroup.com. The company,  itself, is called Cronos Group, Inc., and publicly traded on the NASDAQ exchange, under ticker symbol CRON, was handed a ruling of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking by a three member panel of the Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre, or CIIDRC.

The panel at CIIDRC was composed of members Alan L. Limbury, Douglas M. Isenberg and Gerald M. Levine. The panel’s decision was handed up August 16, 2024.
