Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry, PC, known commercially as Chamberlain Hrdlicka, represented the Pools123 Houston LLC in its failed attempt to use the UDRP process to rope the domain pools123texas.com from its registrant. The domain’s registration predates the complainants registered trademark, which it asserted gave rise to an accrual of rights in the domain.
A three-member panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization rejected the argument and found Pools123 Houston guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking on August 30, 2024.
